Carcinoma of pancrease more common in smokers, almost always adenocarcinoma, manifest as migratory phlebitis and obstructive jaundice
Chronic pancreatitis progressive arnchymal fibrosis, associated with alcohal consumption, may be calcified or produce psuedocysts
Acutepancreatitis caused by activated pancreatic enzymes resulting in autodigestion, with hemorrhagic fat necrosis and depsotion of calcium salts, increases amylase, hypocalcemia
