democracy a system of government by the whole population or all the eligible members of a state, typically through elected representatives.
Sparta An ancient Greek city-state and rival of Athens.
Athes Capital of Greece in east-central Greece on the plain of Attica, overlooking an arm of the Mediterranean Sea.
