Ancient Greece Vocabulary

Peninsula An area surrounded by 3 bodies of water.
Crete A Greek island in the mediterranean.
Mycenae A type of people.
Agamemnon In a Greek fairy tail was a son of a king.
Peloponnesus A type of people who formed Greece.
Colonies Are areas of land that are ruled by an empire under the rulers.
Polis Are what are called cities in Greece.
Agora Is under the acropolis, and is a marketplace and farmland in this area.
