| Glacier | a slowly moving mass or river of ice formed by the accumulation and compaction of snow on mountains or near the poles. |
| mesoamerican | is a region and cultural area in the Americas, extending approximately from central Mexico |
| south america | one of the seven continents located in the south - western hemisphere |
| Olmec | a member of a prehistoric people inhabiting the coast of Veracruz and western Tabasco on the Gulf of Mexico ( circa 1200–400 BC), who established what was probably the first MesoAmerican civilization. |
| maya | the supernatural power wielded by gods and demons to produce illusions. |
| Inca | A South American hummingbird having mainly blackish or bronze-colored plumage with one or two white breast patches. |
| Aztec | a member of the American Indian people dominant in Mexico before the Spanish conquest of the 16th century. |

| Teotihuacan | The Nahuatl word Toltec means great craftsman. There are some cases where it does not refer to the Toltec civilization. Teotihuacan also seems to be older than the Toltec civilization. |

| trade empire | Just what it sounds like. A really large commercial network controlled by one company or nation. Examples in history might be the Phoenicians as a nation or the East India Company. |
