Noah's Ark

Deluge: a flood
Grace: The gift of Gods life that helps us act like Him
Covenant: (1) An act of merciful love fro God toward his people (2) a promise to continue that love (3) expressed in words and deeds.
How is the story of Noah an example of God's merciful love? God showed his merciful love when he spared Noah and his family from the flood and established a New Covenant with him. The new bond of love was the good that God drew from evil and sin.
When God made a covenant with Noah, what promise did God make? God promised that the Earth would never again be covered by a flood.
What is hope? The theological virtue by which we desire and expect from God both eternal life and the grace we need to attain it.
When and where did the flood occur? Mesopotamia c.2000 BC
Why was the story of Noah written? To teach us a lesson about how God shows merciful love
