Yao First sage king, who brought harmony to all societies in China.
Shun The second sage king, who forced the 4 seasons and started weights, measures, and units of time.
Yu The third sage king, who saved China from the yellow river.
Xia Dynasty in China that started 2200 B.C.E, this dynasty set the path for monarchal rule.
Shang Dynasty that started in 1776 B.C.E, produced and used several technology during this dynasty.
Zhou Dynasty that started in 1122 B.C.E, implemented some religion into political and made some advancements to technology.
Chu Powerful state in Yangzhi which challenged the Zhou.
"Mandate Of Heaven" If you had heavenly powers then you have the right to govern.
Legitimacy Lawfulness or authenticity over or of something.
Conspicuous Attracting notice or attention, standing out.
Mariners A sailor or in this case a Chinese sailor.
Scribes A person who writes out and copies documents.
Secular Turning down anything that has nothing to do with religion.
Yangzi River People settled in this area and provided as a border from enemies.
Yellow Rver A special river that was used in different Chinese tales.
