explain who st. Thomas Aquinas was. He was declared a saint in 1323 and then named a doctor of the church because he truely explained the truths about god to the people who, at the tie, were unclear about it.
explain what an "Intellectual Proof" of God's existence is and be able to define and explain one of them. an intellectual proof is a proof for the existence of God. - the unmoved mover. this is the thought that a force is needed to move everything. if something moves on its own then god must have moved it.
explain what a "Heartfelt Proof" of God's existence is and be able to define and explain one of them. a heartfelt proof is when we need to see to believe. -an unquenchable thirst for joy and happiness: says that people want all these material items to be happy when all they need is to believe in god's abilities.
answer basic questions about The Apostles Creed and The Nicene Creed. 1. which came first? 2. which is longer? 3. why were they written? 1.the apostles creed 2.the nicene creed 3.they were written to tell people why catholics believe what they do. teh nicene creed was written to better explain in more detail why catholics believe certain things.
