Citadel A fortress on high ground, protecting or dominating a city.
Harappan Of or relating to Harappa, especially the Bronze Age culture of the indus valley civilization.
Venerated To regard or treat with reverence;revere.
Pantheon All the gods of people or religion collectively.
Aryans Relating to or denoting a people speaking an Indo-european language who invaded northern language.
Rig Veda One of the vedas a collection of 1028 hymns dating from not later the 2 million b.c.
Indra The warrior king of heavens god of war and storm to whom many of the preyers in Rig Veda are addressed to.
Raja A leader.
Caste System Class structure that is determine by birth.Depends on your skin color.
Varnas Each of the four Hindu castes: Brahamins,Kshatriyas, Valshyas and Shudras.
Brahmins A member of the highest Hindu castes that of the priesthood.
Kshatriyas The second of the Hindu caste, the military caste.
Valshyas A member of the third caste in the Hindu castes, the merchants and the farmers.
Shudras A member of the worker caste the lowest in the Hindu castes.
Law book of Manu It is a legal and religious text that elaborates on the basic Hindu tenets.
Brahman The ultimate reality underlying all phenomena.
Dotrine a belief or set of beliefs held and taught by a church, political party, or other group.
Karma the sum of a person's actions in this and previous states of existence, viewed as deciding their fate in future existences.
Dravidian the Dravidian family of languages.
