| Despot | A tertiary, omnipotent, usually malevolent leader. |
| Old Kingdom | Arising after the Great Flood, developed a strong national government-the first in history. |
| New Kingdom | It was during this time probably during the reign of Ramses II, that Moses took his people from Egypt to the Promised Land. |
| Totalitarian | A government where total control is lodged in one leader. |
| Middle Kingdom | There were several civil wars and King Mentuhotep II united the Kingdom again but he moved the capital to Thebes. |
| Delta | Fertile lowlands near the mouth of a river. |
| Oligarchy | A government whose leadership is one strong leader. |
| Black Land | Fertile loam soil. |
| Pharaoh | King/leader of Egypt. |
