Email Vocab
This has all the Email terms you need for email
| Term | Definition |

| A way to send and receive digital messages on the internet | |
| Snailmail | A envelope, letter or package you send through a postal service. |
| Email Address | Your Username@provider.xxx The @ symbol is needed after your username to state the provider |
| Inbox | The inbox is where you will view and manage the emails you receive |
| Message pane | When you open a email in the inbox, it will open the message pane. From here, you can read the message and choose how to respond |
| Compose pane | From here you can write a email to a recipient |
| Drafts | They are messages you have composed but have not sent |
| recipient | recipients are people you are sending the email to |
| subject | the subject is a brief description of what that email is about |
| signature | signatures will appear at the end of every email you send often it will contain your name and contact info |
| Trash | when mail is removed to your trash it is removed from your inbox |
| spam | spam emails often carry viruses or scams so you don't want to open these emails |
| Phishing | a type of email pretending to be from a bank or a trusted source in order to steal your personal info. |
| Folders | Web email providers let you create folders or labels to organize your mail |
| reply | whenever you receive a email you can use the reply command to respond to the message |
| Reply all | Use the reply all command to send it to all the other people, including the original email. |
| forward | whenever you want to share a email you received, you can use the forward command |
| Cc | stand for carbon copy |
| Bcc | stands for blind carbon copy |
| attachment | an item you attach to a email. could be a photo file or other item |
| Emojicon | something used to represent words like a smile |
| formatting | Features you can use to personalize your emails |
