What was the "D" cause to World War 1? European powers looked for support in case war broke out(caused the World in World War 1). Triple Alliance- Germany, Austria- Hungary, and Italy. Triple Entente- France, Russia, and Britain.
What was the "E" cause to World War 1? Assassination of Archduke Francis Ferdinand, he was heir to the throne of Austria Hungary, Gavrilo Princip, a Serbian nationalist Black Hand wanted to unite Herzegovnia with Serbia.
What was the "E4" cause to World War 1? July 28th, 1914 Austria- Hungary declared war on Serbia. Russia mobilized to protect Serbia. Germany then declared war on France and Russia. The alliance system took affect
