How did the Incas adapt to their environment? They grew plants suited to the climate and developed tools.
Who were the Incas? The Incas were a civilization in South America.
Where did the Incas settled to build their empire? Valley of Cuzo.
What were the four regions of South America? Pampas, Altiplano, Amazon Basin, and Coastal Plains.
Who became the Inca ruler? Pachacuti became the Inca ruler.
What did the Incas conquer? They conquered West Coast of South America.
How did the Incas rule the empire? They had a good administration from the government in Cuzco.
What were the 3 ranks in the Inca Hierarchy? They were nobles by birth, appointed nobles, and curacas.
What made settlement hard for the Incas? The cold climate, steep slopes, and high elevation.
When did Sapa Inca take power? During 1493, Sapa Inca took power during the height of Huayna Capac.
