Where did the Aztecs settle? They settled in the highlands of Central Mexico.
What were the Aztecs most important god? The most important god was Huitzilopochtli.
What is a calpulli? A small village where citizens were divided into.
What is a agrarian? Someone whose life was related to farming.
What is a sacrifice? An offering to the gods, such as animals or people.
What valley did the Aztecs settle in? Valley of Mexico.
What are chinampas? Floating gardens in the middle of a lake.
What is a basin? A bowl-shaped area.
What is the Triple Alliance? The Aztecs and other city-states teamed up.
Why did the Aztecs settle where they did? According to legend the Chief god told them where to settle.
If commoners were not farmers what would they be? Artisans or traders.
What were the motives for war? For tributes or capturing prisoners.
