portal of entry | pathogens to get into the host or environment. |
host | something capable or has been infected |
immunity | a state of not being susceptible to pathogens |
surgical asepsis | sterilization of ant item that penetrates the skin or comes into ant contact with a normally sterile part of the body |
infectious agent | a pathogen that can get us sick |
medical asepsis | redousing the amount of pathogens |
healthcare associates infection (HSI) | when a health care facility , a patient can get infections unrealated to their illness |
