Which age was more concerned about manners, the Middle Ages or the Renaissance? Renaissance was more concerned with manners. In fact, Castiglione wrote a book about polite manners during this time.
What is sprezzatura? Sprezzatura is the ability to do things and make them look easy to do.
What was reborn during the Renaissance? The arts and learning were reborn.
Where did artists get their money? Most patrons made money by being a merchant and the patrons paid artists to make art.
What did Savonarola dislike about the Medici leaders? Savonarola disliked the fact that the Medici drank and ate too much. He also thought they dressed immodestly and cared too much about "vanities".
What does it mean when we hear someone described as “Machiavellian?” It means the person is power hungry and will do whatever it takes to keep power. They will lie or steal.
