What is an artifact? An artifact is any human made object.
What is an archeologist? An archeologist is someone who finds and studies artifacts.
What does Neolithic mean? Neolithic means the New Stone Age.
What does Paleolithic mean? Paleolithic means the Old Stone Age.
Who was Hammurabi? He was the leader who created a code of laws.
What is a City-State? It was a small independent country with its own laws and government.
What does domesticate mean? It means to train a wild animal to be useful to humans.
What was a ziggurat? A ziggarat was a temple in the center of a city state.
Where people NOMADS during the Paleoplithic Age or during the Neolithic Age? People were NOMADS during the Paleolithic Age.
What was the main job during the Paleolithic Age? The main job was hunting and gathering.
Why is the Mesopotamia called "The Fertile Cresent?" It is called "The Fertile Cresent" because the soil was very good to grow crops in.
During what period in the Stone Age did people build permanent homes? People built them in the New Stone Age
Are Hammurabi's Laws the same laws we have today? No, they are not the same.
What did the Standard of Ur show? It showed the different parts of a civilzation.
