Treaty of Versailles Treaty that ended WW1 caused severe Economic Depression in Germany
Economic Depression Time period when Germany's economy collapsed causing prices to inflate. made German money Useless.
Nazism A form of fascism or extreme nationalistic government in Germany that resulted in Dictatorship
Adolf Hitler Nazi leader of Germany during WW2 invaded Poland beginning the war he was also responsible for the holocaust
holocaust The mass murder of 6.5 Million Jews
Allied powers the alliance between Great Britain, France, Soviet Union and U.S.A ( won ww2)
Axis powers The alliance made up of Germany, Italy & japan( lost WW2)
The Berlin Wall A wall built to separate East & West Berlin after WW2 east-communist west-democractic
Soviet Union After WW2 this nation controlled Eastern Europe, East Germany, & East Berlin
Cold War A time period 1945-1990 when the U.S.A and Soviet Union threatened each other with Nukes but never used them
Reunification East + west Germany are a unified country again
U.S.A & Soviet Union These 2 nations became world superpowers after WW2
Communist a type of government where they control all the benefits of the people
