| Aesthetics | Products designed to have an enjoyable appearance. |
| Ergonomics | How comfortable something is to use. |
| Scale drawings | Drawing of an object Taft is not true size but that is in correct proportions. |
| Isometric drawing | A pictorial drawing that shows three sides of an object that has been rotates thirty degrees. |
| Orthographic drawing | representing a three-dimensional object in two dimensions. |
| CAD- drawing | Aided drafting or computer - asides design. |
| Design process | The process of planning a project or a product. |
| Constraints limits | Limits imposed on a design. |
| Model | Repica of a proposed product that looks real but not work |
| Prototype | In manufacturing a full scale working model of a proposed product |
| Brainstorming | A group problem solving method of coming up with several alternative designes. |
| Trade off | An exchange of Benefits and disadvantages of one splatoon of those for another solution |
