civilization -the stage of human social development and organization that is considered most advanced -the process by which a society or place reaches an advanced stage of social development and organization
society -the aggregate of people living together in a more or less ordered community -an organization or club formed for a particular purpose or activity
economics --the branch of knowledge concerned with the production, consumption, and transfer of wealth -the condition of a region or group as regards material prosperity.
government -the system that establishes and enforces the laws and institutions of a society; some governments are controlled by a few people; and others are controlled by many.

sacred -connected with God (or the gods) or dedicated to a religious purpose and so deserving veneration
reform -make changes in (something, typically a social, political, or economic institution or practice) in order to improve it. -subject (hydrocarbons) to a catalytic process in which straight-chain molecules are converted to branched forms for use in gasoline
status quo -the existing state of affairs, especially regarding social or political issues
