What is a breed? a group, each of which possesses a given set of physical features such as body shape or type, skin color, carriage of station, # of toes, & feathered or non-feathered shanks.
What does variety mean? sub division of a breed
What are some characteristics to distinguish a variety? color, comb type, or presence of a beard and/or muffs
What are some varieties of Plymouth rocks? barred, white, buff, partridge
