Common injuries due to four main reasons Overtraining, Improper footwear, Orthopedic problems, Improper warm-up/strengthening exercises
Common Signs of Injury Localized heat, Swelling, Redness, Pain, Malfunction
R.I.C.E Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation
Muscle Strain or Pull A stretch, tear or rip in the muscle or surrounding tissue. Sudden localized persistent pain in a muscle.
Sprains (Ankles, Knees) Most common disabling injury. Traumatic joint twist that results in over stretching or tearing ligaments surrounding the joint.
