Stalemate a drawn or undecided contest
Closed Shop a shop in which in which people are required to join a particular unions a precondition to employment and to remain union members as the duration of their employment
Subversion the act of overthrowing : the state of being overthrown; especially : an attempt to overthrow or undermine a government or political system by persons working secretly within the country involved
Blacklist a list of persons who are disapproved of and are to be punished (as by refusing them jobs)
perjury an act of swearing to what one knows is untrue
Allege to state as a fact but without proof
Demilitarized zone A demilitarized zone, or DMZ, is an area in which treaties or agreements between nations, military powers or contending groups forbid military installations, activities or personnel
Censure an official expression of disapproval
