Empowerment of Patients with disabilities ? * be able to recognize the physician behaviors and statements that promote patient empowerment (speaking to the patient instead of to someone else)
Intention and purpose of Hospice ? * purpose is to relieve pain and ease in someone that is terminally ill that has exhausted measures to help heal them
Explain criteria for referral ? *
Discuss barriers = ? * Resistance - People don’t like to talk about death -- Professional callousness toward the terminally ill -- Many times referral is too late.
