SKIN GLAND PROBLEMS

hidrosis the process of sweating
anhidrosis deficiency or absence of sweat
hyperhidrosis Excessive or profuse sweating
seborrhea overactivity of the subaceous glands, resulting in excessive output of sebum and giving the skin an oily appearance
seborrheic pertaining to seborrhea or overactivity of the sebaceous glands
xeroderma dryness and roughness of the skin
xerosis abnormal condition of dryness of the skin and mucous membrane
ichthyosis a condition in which the skin is very dry and scaly, resembling the skin of a fish
emollient an agent that softens and soothes the skin
