Paschal mystery The suffering, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ.
sacraments Sacred signs given to the church by Christ. Through them we receive sanctifying grace. The seven are: baptism, confirmation, Eucharist, penance and reconciliation, anointing of the sick, holy orders, and matrimony.
