| Christianity | A religion in which people believed that Jesus was the savior and the son of god. |
| Baptize | A ritual by which a person is welcomed into a religion. |
| Jesus | A person who was put to death on a Roman cross in the 1st century C.E. some people thought that Jesus was the savior and rose from the dead. |
| Disciple | A person who helps spread the religios teachings of another. |
| Constantine | The emperor that thought he had a dream about Jesus the night before going into battle against a rival, then they won. |
| Parable | A simple story that explains a moral or religious lesson. |
| Judea | The birthplace of Christianity. |
| Crucify | A way of killing someone by nailing them to a cross. |
| Prefect | A high official in ancient Rome. |
| Resurrect | When someone rises to go to heaven. |
| New Testament | The gospels. |
| Gospels | An account of the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. |
| Missionary | Someone who tries to persuade others to believe in his or her religious teachings. |
| Messiah | A savior that many Jews believed had been promised of god. |
