Christianity A religion in which people believed that Jesus was the savior and the son of god.
Baptize A ritual by which a person is welcomed into a religion.
Jesus A person who was put to death on a Roman cross in the 1st century C.E. some people thought that Jesus was the savior and rose from the dead.
Disciple A person who helps spread the religios teachings of another.
Constantine The emperor that thought he had a dream about Jesus the night before going into battle against a rival, then they won.
Parable A simple story that explains a moral or religious lesson.
Judea The birthplace of Christianity.
Crucify A way of killing someone by nailing them to a cross.
Prefect A high official in ancient Rome.
Resurrect When someone rises to go to heaven.
New Testament The gospels.
Gospels An account of the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.
Missionary Someone who tries to persuade others to believe in his or her religious teachings.
Messiah A savior that many Jews believed had been promised of god.
