| enuresis | an involuntary discharge of urine : incontinence of urine |
| fontanels | a membrane-covered opening in bone or between bones |

| jaundice | a condition characterized by yellowness or the skin, eyes, mucous membranes, and excretions |
| menarche | the first menstrual period |
| puberty | the period of life when a person's sexual organs mature and he or she becomes able to have children |
| substance abuse | the use of a substance in a way that is not medically approved; not necessarily addicts |
