World War I definitions

Definition
Triple Entente The alliance linking Russia, France, and the United Kingdom who were against the Central Powers.
Nationalism Becoming obsessed with ones home nation.
Treaty of Versailles The peace treaty that ended World War I.
Propaganda
RMS Lusitania A British-ship that was torpedoed and sunk by the Germans in 1915.
Zimmerman Telegram A telegram sent by the Germans asking the Mexicans for help.
Reparations Property and Money that Germany was forced to hand over.
Trench Warfare A form of fighting using trenches dug in the dirt.
Fourteen Points A statement made by Woodrow Wilson in 1918.
Stalemate A deadlock.
Sussex Pledge A statement made by Germany in 1916 saying that it will cease submarine warfare.
Alliances A coalition between two or more parties.
