golden age a time period in Greece of great peace and wealth, this time period was lead by Pericles.
Pericles Pericles was the great leader of Athens who inspired them to rebuild the city state. Pericles was the reason for the golden age.
Acroplois A hill above the Greek city state of Athens where beautiful temples were built
Parthenon a temple honoring the goddess Athena. the Parthenon was built on the acropolis and people came to athena's temple to honor her
myth a traditional story that helps explain a cultures beliefs, myths were told all around the city state of ahtens
architcture the art of designing buildings, the golden age had very many details in the architecture
