Myth | A traditional story that helps explain a cultures beliefs. |
Archetecture | the art of designing buildings. |
Sculpture | the art of creating 3-demsional figures from materials such as clay, stone, and clay. |
Socrates | A Greek philosopher. He was brought to a trial and was sentenced to death by drinking hemlock. |
Plato | A student of Socrates. taught another great philosopher, Aristole. |
Panathenaic Games | Early Olympics Greeks played. |
Olympics | Set of games played every four years at Olympia to honor god Zues. very important to Greek culture. |
