| sculpture | The art of making three-dimensional figures from such materials as wood, stone, and clay. |
| Socrates | One of the greatest philosophers in Athens. |
| Plato | A student of Socrates. Later became a great philosopher. |
| Panathenic Games | A set of games in Athens honoring the goddess Athena. |
| Olympics | Games played every 4 years to honor the god Zeus. |
