Why was the Arabian Peninsula well situated for trade? because it's crossroads of 3 continents, its surrounded by 3 bodies of water, and that the Arabian peninsula produces frankincense,grains,and copper

What did they do to adapt to the desert? Because the desert was so harsh, they lived a nomadic life, they also wore loose-fitted clothing,and they're cattle were mostly camels who can survive in the desert
How did they adapt to oases? Some became sedentary,Nomads traveled to oasis to oasis, and oasis dwellers grew fruit
Describe the coastal plains Damp air, rain falls regularly, and the coastal plains are well situated for farming
How did they adapt to mountain environment? They farmed on steep slopes,lived in houses made of mus bricks,constructed dams
How did they adapt to the coastal plains? They built dams and wells to irrigate the lands,conserved rainwater in canals most people were traders or farmers
describe the oasis environment. very fertile and grassy and fertile green spot in the middle of the desert
How did the Meccans respond to Muhammad? They rejected his ideas
What did Muhammad do when the Meccans rejected him? He and his Muslim followers protested but was casted out of the tribe.
where did Muhammad and this followers go after they were thrown out of the tribe? They went to Yathrib and renamed it Medina
When did the Quaraysh tribe and Muhammad and his followers establish a peace treaty? 628 AD
Why did Muhammad and his followers overtake Mecca after the peace treaty? because The Quaraysh Tribe broke the treaty
