Satraps People that rule Provences or other cities within a country.
Xerxes Ruler of Persia after Darius and didn't want to fall in defeat like his ancestor Darius when he tried to conquer the Greeks.
alliance An agreement to work together.
Peloponnesian War Persian and the city Sparta joined together to fight Greece trying to expand to the West.
