| Atheroma | a fatty plaque. |
| Bleb | a blister filled with fluid. |
| Cyst | a sac or capsule containing fluid or semi-solid material. |
| Excoriation | an abrasion of the outer layer of the skin. |
| Exfoliated cells | dead cells shed from the skin, mucous membranes, or bone |
| Exudate | fluid, usually containing pus or bacteria. |
| Fissure | a groove, crack or slit. |
| Hyperplasia | extra growth of normal tissue. |
| Petechiae | thin hemorrhagic spots on the skin. |
