Describe Sparta & the Spartans. Sparta is a Military state wuth an Oligarchy. The starte came before the needs of the individual. Athletics were very important. Enslaved neighboring city-state (slaves were called Helots). Economy based on Agriculture.
Describe Athens and the Athenians. Athens developed into a direct democracy and had a maritime economy. Relied on its naval power. Experienced a Golden Age. Focosed on dev3eloping the mind. Individuals nedded to be able to debate and speak in public.
