Multiethnic State A state that contains more than one ethnicity
Multinational State A state that contains two or more ethnic groups with traditions of self-determinism
Nationalism Loyalty and devotion to an ethnicity
Nationality Identity with a group of people that share legal attachment
Race Identity with a group of people
Racism belief that one race has superiority over another. Example Blacks vs. Whites
Racist Discrimination against another race
Self-Determinism the right that ethnicities have the right to govern themselves
Sharecropper Someone who works on rented lands payer the owner with crops
Triangular Slave Trade Slaves that went to the Caribbean Islands to Europe then to Africa
