What is a segmental bridge? a bridge supported by arches that are shallow(parts) of a circle
What are 2 interesting facts about the compass? the first Chinese compasses were made up of pieces of a magnetic mineral called lodestone. Also, if you put lodestone on wood, and it floats in a bowl of water, the lodestone will turn until it points in a nourth-south direction
What are the compasses contributions to the modern world? The compass remains an important navigational tool today for long sea voyages.
What are 2 interesting facts about porcelain? Is a waterproof, and sun-light could pass through it. Sun-light being capable to pass through it made it look quite delicate and beautiful. This caused porcelain to become a prized item for trade.
What are Porcelain's contributions to the modern world? mass production- still have dishes, bowls, and vases. Porcelain, discovered in china, was, and still is referred to as fine dish ware.
