What is Culture? Culture refers to a society's knowledge, art, beliefs, customs, and values.
What is a Hominid? An early like being
What is Paleolithic Era? The first part of the Stone Age, or Old Stone Age.
What are Nomads? Nomads are people moving from place to place as they followed migrating animal herds.
What is the Neolithic Revolution? The shift from hunting and gathering, to farming.
What is the Neolithic Era? The New Stone Age.
What is domestication? The selective growing or breeding of plants and animals to make them more useful to humans.
What are Pastoralists? People who ranged over wide areas and kept livestock on which they depended for herds and livestock.
What are Megaliths? Huge stones for burial or spiritual purposely.
What was the Bronze Age? The time when everyone was from Bronze.
What is Surplus? Excess of food.
What is the division of labor? The economic arrangement in which each worker specializes in a particular task or job.
What is traditional economy? Economic choices were based on custom, tradition, or ritual.
What is civilization? A complex or organized society.
What are Artisans? Skilled craftspeople
What is Cultural Diffusion? The spread of ideas,beliefs, customs, and technology.
What are artifacts? Objects that people in the past made.
What are hunters and gatherers? People who go hunting, fishing, and gathering wild plants berries,and and other food.
What is Animism? The belief that all things in nature have spirits.
What are Homo Sapiens? Modern humans
