| Agrarian | Agrarian is related or pertaining to the cultivation of land, such as the thousands of years humans have relied on systematic agriculture. You can have an agrarian law, specifying rules about the land listed in the law. |
| Communal | Something being shared by all members of a community, or being of common use is communal. Tied with history, things like agricultural crops and water sources could be communal to a village. |
| Filial | Filial is noting or having the relation of a child to a parent. Since the beginning of human civilization, children and their parents have naturally filial relationships. |
| Monarchy | A form of government with a monarch at the head. [Monarch; a king, queen, emperor, etc.] Even today in some parts of the world, there are still monarchies- like in England where Queen Elizabeth (one of the many) resides. |
| Pastoral | Pastoral-in relation to the idealized version of farm life; associated with the keeping/grazing of sheep and cattle. There can be pastoral scenery, and while connected with history, there were pastoralists who herded for a living with nomadic lifestyles. |
| Subsistence | Subsistence is the act of supporting or maintaining oneself at a minimum level. Subsistence farming through out history is explained as farming that supplies the farmer with his basic needs but not surplus for marketing. |
| Archeology | The branch of anthropology (study of human kind) that studies prehistoric peoples and their cultures. With out archeology, almost all of the information we have on human history would be completely gone and unknown. |
| Edifice | An edifice is a large imposing building. Again, tied to history, edifices would have started appearing as large urban areas were starting to be created. |
