Agrarian Farming. During the Neolithic Age, agragrian agriculture was introduced.
Archeology The study of prehistoric people and their cultures. Archeology is observing people in history.
City-State A city with a ruling city. Athens, Greece is a city-state.
Civilization Where government, culture, science, and industry are present. Ancient Greece is an example of early civilizations.
Communal Where religious identity is more important than national idenitity.
Edifice A building. Over the years, edifices became more advanced.
Egalitarian All people are equal and deserve equal rights and oppurtunities. Most societies in the Paleolithic times were egalitarian.
Era A point in time. Paleolithic and Neolithic are eras in ancient history.
Filial Daughter generation. The mothers in Paleolithic times had more of a filial relationship with their children, while the men were out hunting.
Incarnation The embodiment of a god or deity in a person on Earth. Many Greek pharohs claimed they were incarnations of Horus.
Indigenous Native. To our knowledge, the religious belief in only one God was indigenous to Hebrew Monotheism.
