| What were the tenement conditions? | The Tenement conditions were very poor, they had no plumming, they had no eletricity and used oil lamps. They had a bowl for using the restroom and dumped it out in the street. The avrage number living in one tenement was about 30. There was no sunlight. |

Some even died from the conditions. They wernt paid, they worked all day and ate once a day. |
