What was the cause of the rural to urban migration? The cause of the migration was that people were looking for jobs so they moved to the city.
Why did factories mostly hire women and children over men to work at the factories? They chose the women and children over men because they dont need strangth to push a button and because men get payed the alot more then women and children.
What wages did men women and children get when they worked? Women and children had low wages but men had higher wages they were still low wages.
What was the problems with tenament buildings? The tenament buildings were to close together there was barly any sunlight it was over crowded, filthy, no plumming, no electricity, and there was disease from rats and humman waste.
What was the buiness district? The buisness district was a place with alot of markets there was theft and crime, violence and police this was a place were all classes shoped.
How many buisness districts are there? There are four buisness districts.
What is agrcultral revolution? The agrcultral revolution is when technolgy increases in farming.
What is rural area? The rural area is the area wrere the farmers lived.
What is the suburban area? The suburban area is were the middle and uper class lived?
What is urbanization? Urbanization is the city were all the poor lived and worked.
Were is the suburban area located? The suburban area is located on the outskirts of the city.
What was the suburban area like? The suburban area was nice it had single family homes trees sunlight,books, plumming,electricity,and,wealth.
What happend in the rural area? Mass production.
What did they make to improve farmeing? They made farm machines.
What did they mke in the rural area? They made crops.
What did they make in the city? They worked in factories made ropes,and they pushed buttons.
What ware the negitive consequences of crime? They would get hung,and they would get beet.
What dose laissez-faire mean? Lazzy goverment.
What was a positive consequence of work? You get money and you dont starve.
What were factories? Factories are places that people would work if they could not suport them selfsthey made stuff in the factories.
What is acottage industry? A cottage industry is when people make cloths from there homes.
What is a factoier of the production what happend to the resorces? Every thing got dirty and gross and blake and the skies got darker.
What is the efect of meteral living? Increase of standerdized living.
What are examples of labor? Water ways, rail ways, man power.
What is the encloser movement? When the rich bye all the small farms.
What centery did the industrial revilution take place? It was the 1700s.
What is a major problem with th industrys? Is that they are dangerous.
What makes the industry danderous? The machiens make it dangerous are so dangerouse they were the cause of maney deaths.
Why did they use children to tend to the machiens? They used children becausethey had tiney hands and they could fit them into places adult could not.
When the people who lived in the teniments went to the bath room were did they throw the waste? They throw it out of the window.
