This event in the mid-1700s marked the decline in the need for hand (muscle)power and increased the demand for machine power, thus creating factories? The Industrial Revolution
When the men who made stuff home made got tired of the factories taking there jobs they did this. And it was called what? Revolted and formed a Union.
Who got paid the most between the men, women, and children? And why? The men did because they had the muscle and were stronger. But you could get women and children for way cheaper and they still have advantages.
These were appartments that could hold 40-45 poor factorie workers. The conditions outside of them and inside were dirty, stuffy, and crowded. Tenements.
This area was mainly for the rich and wealthy, it had plumming,electricity, and the people were educated. Suberban Area

Why are deaths decreasing in numbers? Due to the better living of familys and people could work and get money, therefore they could buy food for there babies.
What was the Standard of Living like for Great Britain? People were happy at first, making home made idems. But then came factories and alot of people lost there jobs and struggle with there home made idems and trying to sell them. Because factories could make the same thing just in higher quanitys.
Material living increases what? Standard Living
Name some examples of land. Iron, lumber, waterways, coal, ect.
What is the Business District? The markets where all the classes come together to buy materials.
Some Negative consequences of the Industrial Revolution are? People were unhappy, couldnt really sell home made goods, polution was bad, Lower classes were dirty.
How was the life for people in the Suburban Area? It was nice, single family homes, had trees greenery, sunlight, books- literate, plumming, electricity, was middle class/ wealthy.
What is an Assembly Line? The product moving from worker to worker as each one preforms a step.
Examples of Labor. Man power,railways, waterways,roadways, traveling systems.
Consequences of mass production. Hand made materials werent as popular and were expensive.
The factory conditions were.... It was 2 storys, windows dont open, noisy, oil smell, and stuffy, mostly women and children,dirty.
Why did the factory owners like to hire children? Because they were cheaper, faster, they could fix machines easier due to there tiny hands, and they were just more convient.
