Why did God tell Joshua to be strong and courageous? Because Joshua was the one who had to enter into the land of Canaan and defeat the Canaanites.
How was the the land portions divided? (canaan) dived into 12 tribes, and depended on the number of people in each tribe
How was the Memorial done in Joshua 4:1-9? Had a monument with 12 stones from the Jordan river.
What did the Judges do (primary functions)? They governed the people and led the army.

What were the three memorials discussed in Joshua? 1. Monument with 12 stones from the Jordan river 2. currcumsision 3. passover celebration
Why did God hate idol worship? *idols are not true *idol worship breaks the first 2 commandments *God is a jealous God
