| Who are the most notable pharaohs? | Ramses II, Queen Hatshepsut, and Cleopatra. |
| What Pharaoh is the most famous of our time? | Tutankhamen or King Tut. He is the most famous because his is the only tomb not to be looted. |
| How many objects were found in King Tut's tomb? | Over 5,000 objects in 4 rooms. Including a life sieved mask of solid gold that covered his head and shoulders. |
| Why did government become necessary as societies grew? | To provide an orderly way to make decisions, maintain public order through police and courts and to supply services that were not provided by merchants. |
| What could only government ensure in the Egyptian desert? | That all farmers got their fair share of water and that all farmers maintained their ditches so irrigation systems didn't break down. |
