Life on the Arabian Pen.

Desert A hot, dry place, low rainfall, sandstorm.

Oasis A area in the Desert were a water source can be found. It can support plant life, as so towns and trade centers formed around them.
Oasis: Apdatation People who were nomadic traveled from Oasis to Oasis, or they adapted to the area and become stationary. They learned how to farm.
Coastal Plains is an area of flat, low-lying land adjacent to a seacoast and separated from the interior by other features.
Coastal Plain: Apdatation The Arabians built wells, dams, and irrigation systems. They also were perfect locations for sea ports and trading areas.
Mountains 1,000 to 12,000 feet in elevation and Dry riverbeds that fill up during rainstorms.
Mountains: Apdatation Terrace farming, Ashes and manure for fertilizer, and dams, irrigation, and storage of rainwater.
Why is the Arabian Peninsula well situated for trade? You can come from land, the sea, and it is surrounded by 3 continents.
