phlebotomy incision of a vein for the removal of blood the collection of blood
plasma the liquid part of blood clear and straw colored fluid that takes up to 55% of the blood volume
serum plasma from which the clotting factor has been removed
venipuncture puncturing of a vein
venous reflux the backflow of blood from the evacuated tube that goes back into the patients vein
venous stasis the temporary cessation or slowing of the venous blod flow
