Toxoid | a toxin that has been treated bu heat or chemicals to destroy its harmful properties. it is administered to an individual to prevent an infectious disease by stimulating the production of antibodies in that idividual. |
vaccine | a suspension of attenuated or killed MO's administered to an individual to prevent an infectious disease by stimulating the production of antibodies in that individual. |
