Effacement | The thinning out of the cervix that normally occurs along with dilation shortly before delivery |
Colostrum | The first milk secreted at the time of parturition; contains more lactalbumin and lactoprotein; rich in antibodies that confer passive immunity to the newborn; Also called foremilk |
Vas deferens | A tube that is a continuation of the epididymis. This tube transports sperm from the testis to the ejaculatory duct |
