Where are the blood vessels located? | They are located in the perichondrium, bot in cartilage. |
Where is cartilage found? | In places of high pressure |
How is high pressure beneficial to cartilage health? | it forces nurtients out of the pericondrium into the cartilage and wastes are puched out |
What is appositional growth? | Adding more matrix on TOP of the origional, which makes it grow wider. |
What is Intersticial growth? | growth within the tissues. chondroblasts will divide and will puch each other apart by laying matrix. |
